Missing the first of its two reels, it's absurdly comical in its opening with knights, with names made out of puns, riding fake, costume horses in a pretend medieval setting. As Rob Stone claims in his notes for Pordenone, there is a Monty Python quality to the parody.
He's chased by an army of knights, but both he and his pursuers ride music-hall half-horse costumes in lieu of real steads. He proceeds to fight, Fairbanks-like, dozens of swordsmen at once, and defeats his rival one-on-one, leaving him to marry the princess in a state ceremony.
Because King Henry the 4711 (Harry deMore) is thought to have died, Prince Pluto (Stanhope Wheatcroft) seizes the throne and, just to make sure it sticks, holds Princess Elizabeth New Jersey...
