Our review: Parents say ( 38 ): Kids say ( 38 ): Congenial and colorful, this movie takes its cues from children's animated TV, delivering simple concepts, bright reds and yellows, and a cute-as-can-be monkey. Younger kids will like George, and may recognize the plots of several of the classic books woven into the story.

Curious George is a light-hearted, sweet movie that portrays our little monkey's mayhem without resorting to manic pacing, blaring music or wise-cracking. In fact, the makers deliberately put very little into the movie that is aimed over the children's head and at the parents.
Curious George: Directed by Matthew O'Callaghan. With Frank Welker, Will Ferrell, Shane Baumel, Timyra-Joi Beatty. The Man in the Yellow Hat is an oddball museum employee who looks after his pet monkey, an inquisitive and wonderful creature whose enthusiasm often gets the best of him.
