Plot. Medical student Nelson Wright convinces classmates Joe Hurley, David Labraccio, Rachel Manus, and Randy Steckle to help him discover what lies beyond death. Nelson flatlines for one minute before his classmates resuscitate him. While "dead", he sees a boy he bullied as a child, Billy Mahoney.

Summaries. Five medical students experiment with "near death" experiences, until the dark consequences of past tragedies begin to jeopardize their lives. Medical students begin to explore the realm of near death experiences, hoping for insights. Each has their heart stopped and is revived.
Plot. Courtney is a medical student who is obsessed with the idea of the afterlife. She invites her classmates, Jamie and Sophia, to join her in an experiment, in an unused hospital room: using defibrillation to stop her heart for sixty seconds while recording her brain.
