Michael David d'Abo (born 1 March 1944) is an English singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of Manfred Mann from 1966 to their dissolution in 1969, and as the composer of the songs "Handbags and Gladrags" and "Build Me Up Buttercup", the latter of which was a hit for The Foundations.

Mike D'abo (Keyboards & Vocals) In 1966 there was only one man who could fill Paul Jones' shoes as front man for Manfred Mann. Already attracting attention with his group, A Band Of Angels, Mike was thrust into a wider limelight with the Manfreds and the well-oiled hit machine rolled on.
The group were named after their keyboardist Manfred Mann, who later led the successful 1970s group Manfred Mann's Earth Band. The band had two different lead vocalists, Paul Jones from 1962 to 1966 and Mike d'Abo from 1966 to 1969.
Mike d'Abo was born on March 1, 1944 in Betchworth, Surrey, England, UK. He is a composer and actor, known for There's Something About Mary (1998), There's a Girl in My Soup (1970) and Mallrats (1995). He has been married to Lisa Nicola Jane Weaver since April 6, 1996.
