    With cooler temperatures, a lot of fish swim closer to the surface. Rainbow trout move to shallow waters and while mackinaw do as well, they’re still often found in deeper waters.     You’ll find school-size mackinaw in deeper waters. Though they’re less common, you may also reel in rainbow trout, brown trout and kokanee salmon.
