The Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s CTAs can be broken down into two categories: Legacy (one to 42) and Reconciliation (43 to 94). Within each are numerous subcategories meant to tackle specific facets of the reconciliation process.

- Learn about the 94 Calls to Action in the Truth and Reconciliation report. From 2008 to 2015, a Truth and Reconciliation Commission came together in an effort to help repair the harm caused by the residential school system.
- Write your personal Territorial Acknowledgment. We may have learned about the lands we’re living and working on, and may even have recited territorial acknowledgments at events and gatherings.
- Buy an orange shirt from Indigenous-owned organizations and designers. Wear an orange shirt on September 30th in the spirit of healing and reconciliation, and to show support for the every child matters movement.
- Support Indigenous-owned businesses. One form of tangible action you can take is to understand and participate in economic reconciliation. It encourages community prosperity over individual material wealth, which often comes at the expense of community relationships or the health of the physical environment.
