Apr 24, 2023 · There are 2 ways for 4 players to play hearts in teams. In both instances, your teammate sits opposite you at the table. Partners keep their tricks in a shared pile. If a team shoots the moon, they can either assign 26 points to the other team or subtract 26 points from their own total score.
At the end of a round each player counts up their penalty cards and adds it to their score. For each heart you took during the round, you gain one point. If you took the Queen of Spades you get thirteen points. The game ends when one player has earned 100 points total over the course of the game.
The objective is to avoid taking cards worth points and to finish the game with the lowest score. Heart cards are worth 1 point. The Queen of Spades is worth 13 points!
