  7. Along with Only God Forgives, Beyond the Black Rainbow is one of the best neon-lit, orgone-oozing films of the past 20 years. No doubt a metaphysical experience too, but whereas films of Tarkovsky and the like achieve metaphysics through spiritual means, Beyond does it through cosmic vibrations akin to Universe People.
