Max Payne 1 and 2 aged incredibly well, and are still extremely fun to play. Getting Max Payne 1 to run on an AMD processor is a little bit tricking and you need a fan made patch, but its still doable in under 30mins and worth the amazing game behind it. I say play them now and then play the Remake to compare :D. 1.
