My Brilliant Life (2014) The mediocre review for this and other superb Korean movies here--which those 'raters' probably didn't even watch--are absurd. This is a brilliant, sweet movie with wonderful actors, especially incredible Jo Sung Mok as the bright and charming boy who suffers with such love and grace.

Still, Ah-reum can't escape his fate... Review: From the very get-go there are no illusions about how "My Brilliant Life" will end - with a lot of tissues. But this doesn't suffice to describe this consistently well-achieved drama. Because there are also a few additional levels of meaning hidden within the movie.
