Roger Ebert was the film critic of the Chicago Sun-Times from 1967 until his death in 2013. In 1975, he won the Pulitzer Prize for distinguished criticism.

   Lurking somewhere in The Living Daylights is a superb Cold War thriller - a close competitor to better movies like Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. The settings in Austria and Russia, all the way to Afghanistan are incredible -- Bond's jet setting in TLD reminds me strongly of the novels but with a modern (for the time) flair.
