La Puerta del Carmen is the only door that remains from the twelve (four Roman and eight medieval) that the defensive wall of Zaragoza had. It is located in the square that forms the intersection of two of the main arteries of the city, Avenida César Augusto and Paseo María Agustín.
La puerta del Carmen es una antigua estructura monumental que se encuentra en la ciudad de Zaragoza, España. De estilo neoclásico, la puerta del Carmen fue construida en el año 1789 por el arquitecto Agustín Sanz e inaugurada en el año 1792.

Puerta del Carmen is the only remaining gate of Zaragoza's city wall, of which there were twelve; four Roman and eight medieval. It is located at the busy intersection of Paseo de Pamplona, Paseo Maria Agustin, Avenida Cesar Augusto and Calle Hernan Cortes. There is no access to the gate best viewed from Paseo de Pamplona.
