Paul Beasley was the Keynotes’ lead singer from 1964 to 1979. Paul joined The Keynotes’ main rival, the Mighty Clouds of Joy, in 1979 where he went on to record what many would declare is their favorite Paul Beasley song, “Walk Around Heaven”.
