During a drought in Plainsville, Penny and Rudy try to find refuge in Chalkzone. They try to enter in an old quarry, which happens to be in the bottom of the Wait 'n Sea in Chalkzone. Chalk water starts filling up in the quarry, and Rudy and Penny go to the rainmaker to bring rain and wash the chalk water away.

ChalkZone is an American animated television series and the fifteenth major Nicktoon produced by Frederator Studios for Nickelodeon. It was originally featured on Oh Yeah! Cartoons, and is one of the three spin-offs of the show (alongside The Fairly OddParents and My Life as a Teenage Robot ).

Premise. When an elementary school student named Rudy Tabootie (E.G. Daily) finds a magical piece of chalk that allows him access to the ChalkZone, an alternate dimension where everything and everyone that's ever been drawn in chalk and erased takes form and becomes living and/or tangible.
ChalkZone is an American animated television series that aired on Nickelodeon. The show premiered on March 22, 2002, and finished airing its fourth and final season on August 23, 2008. Before becoming a full-fledged series, eight segments aired on the network's Oh Yeah! Cartoons program during 1998 and 1999.
Rudy can draw portals with his magic chalk and use those portals to enter new worlds. The drawings that have been previously erased come to life as Rudy explores the ChalkZone.
