Even when Dylan makes fun of the Perpetuity Wing, he still takes much of the worship seriously. The effort put into the Perpetuity wing complete with reproducing an entire house with period accurate furnishings must have been immense and expensive. But what makes it totally bonkers is that it's there ONLY for the select employees on the Severed floor. It's not in the main part of the building, it's in the severed basement level.
I got the vibe like Lumon is akin to a cult or religion and the Perpetuity wing was like a church or shrine to the spiritual leader Egan. or leaders in the Egans. I think most of the company functions like a regular company but whatever is going on with the SVR'D floor and everyone involved are on the cult side of things.
