May 7, 2024 · The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce is seeking public comment on the current Ohio Learning Standards for Technology as we work to instill in students a broad, rich, understanding of technology and its effective use and role in their world – an understanding they need to become technology-literate citizens.
Ohio’s Learning Standards for Technology incorporate the following strands across the grade bands: Information and Communications Technology, Society and Technology, and Design and Technology. These strands provide three lenses through which kindergarten through grade 12 students consider and engage with technology.
