May 19, 2019 · When Steve Saleen set out to build a super-fast, mid-engined V8 road car, a racing version was always in the grand plan, a car that could race in the American Le Mans Series, the FIA GT Championship and at Le Mans. Eventually, the car you see here, a 7.0-litre monster, was born.
Best known for modifying and racing Ford products, the S7 was the first purpose built machine created by Saleen. Considering the company's competition heritage, it was hardly surprising that the race ready S7-R followed just a few months later.
