    —Cormac O'Connor to Charon

Hansel and Gretel, also known as The Twins, are highly skilled assassins serving under the New York Continental manager and crime lord Cormac O'Connor. They are the secondary antagonists of The Continental: From the World of John Wick.

When Cormac O'Connor was informed by Charon about his henchmen's failure to recover his coin press and kill Frankie Scott, He then ordered Charon to call the Twins to work for him. Charon then approached their room and gently greeted them before informing them of Cormac's orders. Hansel was shown opening the door for Charon, while Gretel was seen stretching with blood all over her body leaving the bathroom, implying that they may have killed someone moments before they were summoned by Cormac.

Moments later, they arrived at the apartment where Frankie, Winston, and Yen are located for them to escape with the coin press in a helicopter. They used a building elevator to get to the rooftop, where they positioned until their chopper arrived. Gretel is equipped and ready with her sniper rifle, while Hansel is in charge of using the telescope to inform of their whereabouts. While all of them are in the chopper, Frankie drops from the chopper with the coin press and remains on the roof while Yen and Winston leave in the helicopter. Gretel saw Frankie with her scope and shot his head, killing him instantly.

They retrieved the coin press from Frankie and returned to Cormac. However, when Cormac opens the coin press, it appears to be a fake one, with a small monkey figure giving a middle finger gesture. They ordered to search again until they reached Charlie's RV. They searched everywhere inside, but they found nothing. Back to the Continental, Cormac was shown praying inside the chapel, with Hansel and Gretel at his back. Cormac then tells and warns them about the remaining days given by the High Table if they don't retrieve the coin press. Furthermore, Cormac tells them how upset he is with their failure and how much it humiliates him. Hansel saw Gretel squeezing her coat and was filled with anger upon hearing from Cormac. Cormac then tells everyone inside the chapel to leave.

One night, the Twins ambushed a bus with Charon questioning the bus driver as to where is Winston Scott being dropped off after their conversation inside the same bus. The bus driver answered with no specifications leading Charon to leave them inside and left the bus driver being killed by the Twins. During the incoming bloodshed of the New York Continental where the red light signal for business is now allowed on Continental grounds, they were seen preparing their firearms.

When the battle started, they killed every assassin inside and were seen shooting and fighting in the hotel hallways. They were distracted when Yen whistled to call their attention with both chasing her. Later, they were led to be held at gunpoint by Yen without knowing where she was during the chase, forcing her to drop both of their weapons. Yen had a detonator connecting to the bomb around her and Miles then arrived. Both had a conversation not fully aware and focused when Gretel made eye contact with Hansel, it is a signal to attack since Yen was not focused on them but instead on Miles. They then split up with Hansel going after Miles while Gretel on Yen. Miles was chased down by Hansel and another assassin until they reached the speakeasy bar where they exchanged gunfire. While the ongoing shooting occurs, Lemmy then tells Miles that he will drop a bomb through a pneumatic canister. When the bomb reaches the bar, Hansel notices the bar and grabs the assassin as a cover before it explodes.

After the explosion, Miles attempts to shoot Hansel but is able to dodge slightly. Miles then tried to shoot again, not knowing the pistol was run out of ammo. Both started to fight not until Hansel choked him using his foot. Lou then kicked Hansel's face saving Miles. Miles and Lou beat Hansel despite him using his self-defense. He then stood up to fight. This triggered Hansel with anger as he picked a cue stick. While both of them started to fight him once again, Hansel was able to block and counter their attacks, exchanging with his critical attacks using his cue stick leading both of them to have a hard time fighting against him.

Hansel and Gretel are cold, ruthless, and psychotic assassins with a lack of emotions. They had no empathy and sorrow when killing their targets. Despite the lack of dialogue, they demonstrated more behaviors such as fighting and murdering people with no hesitation. They act and move strangely with their languid movement throughout their regular activities but are highly brutal and swift when it comes to their killing duties.

Hansel's expressions display a blank face, whilst his twin Gretel's expressions indicate a slight smile expression. They kill people with no hesitation. Each of them had their own style of fighting. They possibly communicate through eye contact and actions. In addition, despite both having no emotions, Gretel possibly likes listening to music as she smiles with head movement while listening to music in an elevator.

    Hansel:

•Master Martial Artist: Hansel is shown to be an expert martial artist, capable of throwing fast punches and performing high kicks. He incorporates Wushu as his fighting style as he is seen with a cue stick, using it like a Wushu staff. He attacks and blocks in a traditional way during his fight against Miles and Lou, evading and countering their attacks.

•Skilled Marksman: Several battles featuring Hansel have revealed that he is an expert with guns. When shooting and killing his targets, he primarily used pistols.

•High Pain Tolerance: After being involved in an explosion, Hansel was able to stand and face Miles, demonstrating his high pain tolerance. He was even able to battle against Miles and Lou while being severely battered.

    Gretel:

•Master Contortionist: Unlike her twin, Hansel more involves martial arts as his fighting style, Gretel's style is more likely unique, as she uses her extreme flexibility as her way of fighting and killing her targets. Her art of contortion and gymnastics uses her body to perform bending, twists, and splits and uses it to grapple, kick, and break people's bones. She is capable of being fast in fighting and being unpredictable with her attacks due to her flexibility as shown during her fight against Yen. She can even stand on her own with the use of her flexibility despite the cracking of her bones.

    •Colt Officer's ACP: Hansel's sidearm is a pistol.

    •Colt M1911A1: Gretel's sidearm is a pistol.

•M14: Gretel used a scoped rifle to shoot Frankie Scott in the forehead.

•Colt Model 639: Gretel is seen with another rifle.

•Tactical Telescope: Hansel is seen using a tactical telescope on the rooftop.

•Knife: Gretel used a knife against Yen.

•Their names "Hansel and Gretel" are based on the German fairy tale siblings of the same name.

•According to series director Albert Hughes, Hansel's haircut is inspired by Beatles member and musician Ringo Starr.
