  1. Sep 16, 2020 · Powered by JustWatch. Antonio Campos ’ adaptation of Donald Ray Pollock ’s “The Devil All the Time” is an ambitious, sprawling drama with so much rippling under its surface and so many characters to keep track of that it’s tempting to say it would have worked better as a mini-series.

  2. Watchmen. Case in point, the miniseries they did. Even though quite a few of the Disney+ MCU shows feel like they would work better as movies, The Eternals is the one MCU movie that I think would have worked better as one of the Disney+ series. Biopics suit mini-series more than they do the movie format imo.

  4. Watched ‘The Devil All The Time’ last night... spoiler free. What a film. Imagery is very shocking in parts and contrasts well with the Christian themes and music that is constantly playing. Director has done a brilliant job to keep diverting the audiences expectations. I like how it was hinted at many times about the preoccupation of ...

  5. Most of us can agree that IT WAS underwhelming. Could it have worked in this other format. It would have given more devlopment of the characters that we knew nothing about in a 90 minute movie. There would have been more room to delve into Tony and his rise to power. Many other smaller detials as well.

  6. Nina Needs to Go would've worked better as a one-off short. Most of the characters have little to no personality, and very little is known about them. All we know about them is their names, their family positions, Nina always feels the need to use the restroom, and Nana is a very talented ninja.

  7. Sep 18, 2019 · Scott Snyder and Jock reunite for a seven issue miniseries of Batman vs. The Batman Who Laughs. I felt like the story would have worked better as an “Elseworlds” tale, but make no mistake, this saga of The Batman Who Laughs murdering multiversal Bruce Waynes and attempting to infect all of Gotham is somehow very much in continuity.
