In May 2021, John 5, along with Rob Zombie, Nikki Sixx, and Tommy Clufetos, formed the supergroup L.A. Rats. Their debut track, "I've Been Everywhere", appeared on the soundtrack to the Liam Neeson film The Ice Road.
