Jan 30, 2023 · To me, it seems like Lelouch wanted to make a car movie and added a romantic element so he’d have a plot; but either way, Trintignant was appropriately cool, Aimee was appropriately gorgeous, the soundtrack was appropriately ’60s, and the racing scenes made the movie for me.
