      • To get to Lookout Landing, head towards the tower underneath the floating castle. Where is Lookout Landing? When you first drop down into Hyrule, you’ll be a fair way away from Lookout Landing. It’s positioned just before Hyrule Castle, which is now floating in the air, so if you head toward the center of the map, you should be able to see it.

    Lookout Landing

Lookout Landing is a humble village located near Hyrule Castle in North Hyrule Field. It’s the first settlement you come across when you first land on the surface of Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and it serves as an essential hub for the entire Central Hyrule area.

Here are the most essential places to visit in Lookout Landing.

The Lookout Landing Skyview Tower is the first Skyview Tower you will unlock in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It is located on the Northwestern side of the village, and is very imposing. You can’t miss it.

Heading into the Tower and activating the Sheikah Pedestal inside will send you hurtling into the sky, where you can download all the map data for North Hyrule Field.

The Research Tower is to the right of Lookout Landing Skyview Tower and is where you will meet up with Purah and Robbie to receive the Regional Phenomena Main Quest.

Mubs is the humble shop-owner of Lookout Landing. She doesn’t sell much, but you will definitely want to visit her to get the Hylian outfit as soon as possible.

Mubs also updates her inventory with items you encounter as you progress through your adventure, so make sure you head back to visit her shop in Lookout Landing periodically to see her updated inventory.

    Starting Inventory

    •Hylian Hood: 70 Rupees.

    •Hylian Tunic: 130 Rupees.

    •Hylian Trousers: 120 Rupees.

If you’ve ever seen the slightly off-putting head-shaped statue with its many eyes staring deep into your soul in Josha’s office, you’ve seen the Poe Collector. And it’s not quite as scary as it seems.

The Poe Collector just wants to ferry the spirits that aimlessly wander about the darkness of the Depths to the other side. But since it is restricted to the corner of Josha’s office, it can’t do it itself. That’s where you come in.

The Poe Collector sets up a shop of sorts where you can trade Poes in exchange for items. Here’s what’s on offer in the Poe Collector’s shop:

    Inventory

    •Dark Clump: 10 Poes

    •Muddle Bud: 16 Poes

The Emergency Shelter is a must-visit in Lookout Landing. It's an underground bunker where you can find beds, a cooking pot, and a Goddess Statue.

It is also where you can begin the Today’s Menu and Who Goes There? Side Quests.

The Lookout Landing Stable is the only Stable in all of Hyrule Field. It isn’t there when you start the game, however. You need to complete The Incomplete Stable Side Quest before you can gain access to it.

Hyrule Field is a big space with plenty to explore, so you will definitely want to make sure you unlock it as soon as possible. The Side Quest is only available after you have completed the Hebra leg of the Regional Phenomena Main Quest.

Hestu is a returning Tree Spirit from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. He is the key character in the Hestu’s Concerns Side Adventure, which can be triggered in either Hyrule Ridge or Lookout Landing.

Hestu trades one of the game’s collectibles, Korok seeds, in exchange for increasing the size of your inventory. He can be found in Lookout Landing for a decent chunk of the game, but you can also find him in the Korok Forest.
