Geneva Lake Shore Path. The 21-mile Geneva Lake shore path allows hikers to literally walk through the backyards of striking century-old mansions. The path was created by the region’s earliest settlers who dictated that the 20 feet of land directly up from the shoreline be deemed public domain.
Walk, Talk & Gawk by Pat Groh and Chris Hawver ($7) divides the experience into seven manageable hikes of two to three and a half miles. The booklet includes one-page, pull-out guides for each segment with a notated map and description of the notable sights along each segment.
