Wordle is a web-based word game created and developed by Welsh software engineer Josh Wardle. Players have six attempts to guess a five-letter word, with feedback given for each guess in the form of colored tiles indicating when letters match or occupy the correct position.
In Wordle, players try to find a five-letter word by guessing. After each guess, you learn which letters are in the right place, and which other letters are part of the word but not placed correctly. Then you guess again – but be careful, you only have six guesses. Variations of this game go back decades.
