I absolutely loved Don’t Breathe (2016). Perfect use of sounds and video (like the black and white filter to replicate seeing in the dark). I was on edge during the whole movie, and there were several twists that I didn’t expect. The psychological horror of the characters desperately trying to keep quiet and escape the old man was intense.

I personally didn’t find it scary or consider it a horror movie more of a thriller. While it would be terrifying to be anyone of those people in the movie but watching it wasn’t scary someone else said thrill ride which I agree with, Don’t Breathe certainly wasn’t a dark ride if going with amusement park analogies. 0.
