May 29, 2013 · Even as I agree with that consensus, I'm still compelled to suggest that maybe, The Undiscovered Country is the better-directed of the two movies; maybe even the best-directed of all the Star Trek pictures, excusing perhaps Robert Wise's imposing but script-strangled work with Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
