The movie sets up a massive showdown atop a skyscraper between the two main adversaries and then flips that on it’s head to finish out the movie in a parking lot in front of a mental hospital where the hero dies by being drowned by the smallest amount of the one thing that can harm him.
Rather than having an epic final battle between the Good Guy and the Bad Guy, the Good Guy just calls the cops and gets him arrested. Such an obvious solution than never happens in typical superhero movies.
