If you're looking for a good view of the old West, this movie is well worth your time. Great storyline, great acting, and fantastic scenery. Duvall seems to be timeless, as always, this time in a story that's all about time. Thomas Haden Church adds his best performance ever, showing he's ready for more serious roles.
Well, while "Broken Trail" isn't a sequel, it's a western mini-series with Robert Duvall...and it certainly WON'T be mistaken for "Lonesome Dove" despite the two starring Duvall. The story is about a couple cowboys...an uncle (Robert Duvall) and his nephew (Thomas Haden Church).
