Had pretty much the same experience watching this the other day. The film is too long. The Billy Lee flashback is almost totally unnecessary and could be removed completely. The Miles flashback is in the wrong place and completely takes you out of the finale.

The song appears in the TV show Dynasty but i’m not sure if that’s where you heard it from. There’s a romcom movie in 1988 with the same name “You Can’t Hurry Love”.
