Jul 3, 2013 · If you’re going to have an unnecessary sequel, you can do far worse than “Despicable Me 2.” Gru, his minions and his “leetle gurrls” return. Gru has become more subdued and occasionally uninteresting. Still, the cleverness of the gags and the plot merit a positive review.
