  6. Ladyhawke has the same feel to it as LOTR. Of course LOTR had a far better budget and use of CGI, but Ladyhawke is a very minimalist cousin. Whoever directed this deserved more acclaim. It's an excellent blend of humor, action, mysterious magic, clear morals (which we sometimes need), and great actors.
