The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a fantasy action role-playing game, playable from either a first or third-person perspective. First person. It's one of the big draws for me. I'm not really comfortable or very good at 3rd person perspective games. The ability to go back and forth between the two is cool so you can check out the new armor and stuff, but for playing, it's always 1st person.
In short, yes, Skyrim can be played in a first-person perspective. This means you’ll be seeing the vast world of Tamriel through the very eyes of your character, making every dragon encounter and arrow to the knee (remember that meme?) feel incredibly personal.
