Wolf Guy (ウルフガイ, Urufu Gai) is a Japanese manga series of two volumes published in 1970 by Bunkasha. Originally written by Kazumasa Hirai and illustrated by Hisashi Sakaguchi (坂口尚), the series has been readapted with a more violent and mature setting in 2007 by Yoshiaki Tabata and Yuuki Yugo .

Jun 9, 2017 · Wolf Guy is amazingly bizarre and captivatingly confusing. The audience that enjoyed Sonny taking names and kicking asses wouldn’t quite be ready for a movie based on a manga comic book.
As author Bryan Senn points out, even though the title is "Wolf Guy", one of the strange things is that Chiba never actually becomes a wolf at all. He has his strength fluctuate based on the lunar cycle, and at its peak he can deflect bullets or even reverse the effects of being disemboweled.
