Much of the acting, especially Tracy Melchior (ONE LIFE TO LIVE and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL), and John Schneider (SMALLVILLE and THE DUKES OF HAZARD), is very good. The direction is good but not totally consistent.

    Update: I've seen the movie a couple more times and its weaknesses are a bit more evident, but nevertheless, the acting overall was quite good and the messages in the movie are so practical and just as importantly, it doesn't have that "lame Christian movie" look and feel that so many have.

If that was the lesson this film was trying to convey, I didn’t see it. I could not in good conscious recommend this movie because there were just so many flaws.
