Bad Apple is the third episode of the sixth season of the police procedural series NCIS: New Orleans which was aired on October 8, 2019.
Pride visits New York City after he learns newly acquired DNA evidence was linked to a cold case from 20 years ago when he worked at the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's office.
•Scott Bakula character travels to New York. Vanessa Ferlito played a forensic specialist in CSI: NY.
•Since Pride was no longer with the JPSO, he would not be involved in the old case. It would remain a JPSO case. Even if the suspect had confessed to Pride, he could not have arrested him since he is no longer with the JPSO and the case was not within NCIS jurisdiction. Additionally, the Navy would not expend the resources of an entire team on a case that was not USN/USMC related.
