- The Constant (Season 4, Episode 5) Time travel is an incredibly challenging narrative device to execute properly. Jumps in the timeline can easily become confusing, especially in a weekly television series that is already dealing with multiple ongoing storylines.

All six season finales had a shot at making this list. Season five's climax is the finest time for that stretch of episodes.
