Sep 3, 2016 · 3 September, 2016. Oslo City Hall (Rådhuset) houses the city council and the administration of Oslo. The interiors of Oslo City Hall were decorated by famous Norwegian artists: Per Krohg, Axel Revold, Alf Rolfsen, Dagfin Werenskiold… It is also the place where the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony is presented every year on December 10.
It was designed by architects Arnstein Arneberg and Magnus Poulsson. The building is located in the city center, in the northern part of the Pipervika neighbourhood, and it faces Oslofjord . Oslo City Hall is built of red brick and has two towers, one 63 meters tall and other 66 meters tall.
