Davenport's 11.3-mile section of the Mississippi River Trail parallels the Mississippi River, starting at the city's western border. Along the way, trail users will pass ft7 Centennial Park—which opened on the reclaimed site of a landfill, rail yard, and fairground in 2004.
The trails along the Mississippi River are signature running spots in the Davenport/Quad cities area. We’ve created separate posts for the Riverfront Trail on the north side, and the Great River Trail on the south side.
