- Andrés Manuel López Obrador (born November 13, 1953, Villa de Tepetitán, Tabasco, Mexico) is a centre-left populist Mexican politician who was elected president of Mexico in July 2018. Previously he served as head of the Federal District government (2000–05) and ran unsuccessfully for president in 2006 and 2012.
