Robert McNeil is a mainstream, wealthy, and somewhat uptight banker from New York City. He is an opera enthusiast, who has seats at the Metropolitan.
Early life Season 2
Robert and his wife, Flora, accept an invitation to join Bertha Russell on 61st Street as part of an evening for opera enthusiasts. While dining, Flora is shocked to see that her father is a valet at the Russell household. Robert tries to visit the Russells on 61st street, trying to find the servants' entrance to look for "Mr. Collyer". Church lets him inside, where he tells George Russell that he is in fact looking for his valet, but that he does not want to poach him. He instead tries to deliver a message to his estranged father-in-law.
