In February 2012, vocalist Carl Sentance announced on his Facebook page that he had recorded seven new songs, and re-cut four old Persian Risk tracks, for inclusion on a new Persian Risk album, albeit without any of the original members involved.

Carl Sentance (born 28 June 1961 in Loughborough) [1] is an English rock singer and current vocalist for Nazareth. [2] He began his career as the singer for Persian Risk. In 1986, as Persian Risk disbanded, he was recruited by Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler to front the Geezer Butler Band.
Jan 16, 2020 · Sentance is a vocalist's vocalist. His is a voice that fits damn near perfectly with whatever he decides to attempt. With that said, I find the vocals on these two PERSIAN RISK releases just outstanding. Musically, the songs are rendered impeccably, and how could they not be considering the talent performing on these two albums?

PERSIAN RISK re-activated by you in 2012, but before that the band was not active for a long prior of time as much as other 80’s metal bands as Manowar, Metallica, Helloween or Mötley Crüe.

Carl Sentance was born 28th June 1961 in Loughborough Leicestershire, UK and started his first band LEADING STAR playing guitar and singing in 1977. After participating in several local bands, he replaced John Deverill as a vocalist in the NWoBHM band PERSIAN RISK.
