Year-End Tax Statements. Your statement will be available online around the middle of January, leaving you plenty of time to reference it for filing your taxes. If you are not signed up for Paperless, your statement will be mailed to you by January 31st.
On your monthly statement, you’ll see what you owe and how much is going to principal, interest, escrow (taxes & insurance), and anything else. Other key information on your monthly statement includes year-to-date amounts and your current interest rate.
Each January, we provide our customers a year-end tax statement that summarizes key mortgage and tax information from the previous year and includes your IRS Form 1098. It may also be accompanied by a Form 1099, if necessary.

An escrow account is where funds are held to pay property tax and insurance bills on your behalf. If your loan is escrowed, a part of your mortgage payment goes into your escrow account every month.
If you signed the Note but your name isn’t on the year-end tax statement or 1098, here’s why: Only the primary borrower’s Social Security Number is reported. To switch the order of the names and the reporting for future statements, you’ll need to complete an Affiliation Change Agreement.
When We’ll Pay Your Property Taxes. If your loan is escrowed, you can count on us to pay your taxes on time. Your escrow account will be debited about 10 business days before the delinquency date, and we’ll let you know when that happens. Many taxing authorities allow grace periods for payments.

California Supplemental Taxes. If your property is in California and the assessor finds a value increase —due to a recent appraisal, improvements, or new construction—you may receive supplemental tax bills on the increased property value.
