Lost at Sea is a team building activity to encourage interaction and teamwork among your group. The chances of ‘survival’ depend on their ability to rank the salvaged items in relative order of importance.

Instructions. Provide a ‘lost at sea ranking chart’ for every member of your group. Ask each person to take 10 minutes to decide their own rankings, and record the choices in the left-hand Step 1 column. Invite everyone to get into teams of 3/4.
Exercise 1: Lost at Sea*. In this activity, participants must pretend that they've been shipwrecked and are stranded in a lifeboat. Each team has a box of matches, and a number of items that they've salvaged from the sinking ship. Members must agree which items are most important for their survival.
The exercise "Lost a Sea" will have you make important decisions, by yourself and then as a team, to allow you and your team to survive. A fun and interactive concept! Several heads are better than one, is the principal lesson that emerges from this workshop.
