An early version of the song featuring Lil Wayne, Drake, Nut Da Kidd originally leaked in 2008, but the single version is a remix with new verses by Drake and Wayne and the addition of Kanye West and Eminem. Lil Wayne's participation surprised some as he had previously professed on mixtapes that Kobe Bryant is the best basketball player alive.

Aug 27, 2009 · Lil Wayne, the other rapper that Drake has an obvious influence from with his raps. Unlike most on RYM I can't hate Lil Wayne totally like most. It's a Sorta-Like/Hate relationship me and him have. I mean, I do hate how he raps sometimes. But at the same time I can't deny his talent.
"Forever" is a single by rappers Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Eminem. The song is released as a single from the soundtrack to LeBron James's More Than a Game documentary. The song was also placed on the re-release of Eminem's album Relapse, titled Relapse: Refill. Eminem performed his verse of the song at the American Music Awards of 2009.
