blanche-2 1 September 2008. "Saratoga Trunk" is a 1945 film starring Ingrid Bergman and Gary Cooper. It's based on a 1941 book by the great Edna Ferber. Subconsciously she may have had Gone with the Wind on the brain; parts of the story reminded me of GWTW.

Sep 1, 2009 · Insgesamt ist "Saratoga Trunk" kein Hit (dafür fehlt es dem Drehbuch an Stringenz), aber dank der erstklassigen Hauptdarsteller und der liebevollen Ausstattung doch immerhin recht gut anzuschauen. (Schwarzweiß-) Bild- und (Original-) Tonqualität dieser italienischen DVD-Produktion sind gut, so dass es insgesamt noch für vier Sternchen reicht.
