Trauma is the seventh album by rapper/producer DJ Quik. It was released in 2005 and sold 100,000 copies through his own independent label Mad Science Records. The album debuted at number forty three on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, with 24,000 copies sold in its first-week.
Feb 3, 2007 · A nice mixtape, as he puts, from Quik just a short while before his 7th solo album, "Trauma", dropped. With 17 tracks, 3 are skits, 1 is an instrumental and 1 is an interview, so you only get 12 songs. Of these 12 songs, 6 are on other DJ quik albums, so its' 6 new songs, 1 of which Quik isn't on. All of the 12 are good or classic songs however.

Don't get me wrong "Under Tha Influence" and "Ballance & Options" were both 5 star classics, but this one has the same consistency as "Rhytmalism".
