Old Colorado City, formerly Colorado City, was once a town, but it is now a neighborhood within the city of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Its commercial district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
May 23, 2023 · Unlike any other top Colorado destination, historic Old Colorado City (aka OCC), is a suburb nestled inside of the city of Colorado Springs. The small town is known for hosting many seasonal events for hours of entertainment for all ages.
OCC Historical Society Preserves the history of Old Colorado City. The History Center has a Museum, Bookstore, Archives, and Reference Library.
Old Colorado City is a quaint little town full of shops and restaurants all while just down the base of Pike Peak area. Also just a couple miles from Manitou Springs. Go visit and just walk the area. It’s a nice town. On our visit, there was a little concert in the park from the college students.
