Maniac rams in more than any other series I have ever seen, aside from the new Twin Peaks. The difference is that in Maniac's case it almost all works brilliantly. This 6.5 hour extravaganza has the absurd ambition of Lynch's latest work as well as films like Cloud Atlas, only it manages to feel light years more cohesive than both.
