Jun 29, 2024 · The Shasta daisy (Leucantheum x superbum) is a long-blooming flower (blooms can last for several months) that has been popular since the 20th century.There are both single and double petal varieties and the size of the plant varies by cultivar, but they all sport cheerful, white blooms with yellow centers and bloom in the summer months.
Driving up to Mt. Shasta is a pleasure, in itself (take Everett Memorial Hwy straight up to Bunny Flat which puts you right at the base). There are several turnouts to view the surrounding area, trees and hills, in the distance.
