Oct 4, 2023 · As I mentioned above, the best place to stay in Hualien for your itinerary is downtown.. Hualien is super navigable on foot, and by staying downtown you will have most attractions, markets, shops, restaurants/bars, and cozy coffee shops within a 10–15 minute jaunt.
